Our Jeep Tours

Group Tour: You book a seat and will share the jeep with other guests up to 6 people from mixed nationalities. This is the most cost-effective option. Classic WEST or EAST itinerary and all guests have to respect the stop times given by the driver in order to be able to do full program.

Private Tour: You book the entire jeep exclusively for your group. You will not share the tour with anyone else. Private tours offer maximum flexibility regarding stops and pace and are generally the most chosen option. Itinerary is made based on your curiosity and desires.

Our jeeps comfortably seat a maximum of 6 passengers, in addition to the driver/guide.

The price always includes transportation in our certified 4×4 jeep, a professional local guide/driver and all insurances according to Portuguese laws

Yes, we highly recommend booking in advance, especially for the popular Private Tours, specially  during peak season.

We recommend comfortable, closed-toe walking shoes, layers of clothing (it can be cold/windy at altitude), sunglasses, sun cream, a camera, and a bottle of water.

Our jeeps are high-quality 4×4 vehicles specifically maintained for these routes. We prioritize providing an adventurous experience while maintaining strict safety standards on all off-road tracks.

Tours generally run regardless of light rain or fog. Madeira’s weather changes quickly, and our guides are experts at adapting the route to find the best conditions. If we deem the weather unsafe (e.g., heavy storms, extreme fog), we will contact you immediately to offer a rebooking or a full refund.

To access the island’s hidden beauty, we do drive on uneven tracks. If you are prone to motion sickness, we recommend booking a seat closer to the front of the jeep and considering taking appropriate preventative medication before the tour. The best option would be to book a private tour so your driver can adapt each road according to your needs.

Yes, all full-day tours  include regular stops in villages or at designated tourist points where restroom facilities are available.
